When you use the platform, you register as a user (Service Providers, Customers and Business Owners), publish your profile and services (Service Providers and Business Owners), make a service request and pay for a service (Customers), add a Service Provider as an employee of the business (Business Owners), use the functionalities available on the platform, use the feedback system, contact us through our contact details and provide us with personal information to communicate with you, you consent to our collection, storage and use of your information under the terms set out in this privacy policy.

The information we collect from our users helps us to continually improve the user experience on the platform. These are the types of information we collect:
Information you provide to us. You provide information when you use the platform, register as a user (Service Providers, Customers and Business Owners), publish your profile and services (Service Providers and Business Owners), make a service request and pay for a service (Customers), add a Service Provider as an employee of the business (Business Owners), use the functionalities available on the platform, use the feedback system, contact us through our contact details and provide us with personal information to communicate with you. Information Collected Automatically (website): As you browse our website, certain usage data is automatically collected. Background check (Service Providers and Business Owners): To ensure the safety and reliability of our platform, we require all Service Providers and Business Owners to undergo a background check before they can offer and provide their services. This check is essential to maintain the integrity and security of our community. Accordingly, Service Providers and Business Owners will be required to provide certain personal information necessary to conduct this background check. Such information will be processed and used solely for the purpose of conducting the background check. It is important to note that, in order to conduct this background check, we will share the necessary information with a third party background check company or service. This third party will act in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and undertakes to treat the information received with the utmost confidentiality and security and for the sole and exclusive purpose of performing the check.
User Content: InstaService collects and processes user content, which includes data and information entered on our platform, solely for the provision and improvement of our services. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of this content, and will not share it with third parties except as required by law or for the operation of the service. Users have the right to access, modify and request deletion of their information, in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable law. Payment information: Your credit card or payment card details will be processed by the payment processors available on the website (Stripe), who will process and store your data securely and for the sole purpose of processing transactions within the platform. InstaService reserves the right to engage any available payment processor.

Contact information: We may access some personal information about the user, such as name and email address, when the user or any third party communicates with us through our contact information. Personal information provided through our contact information is not stored on any InstaService server and will be stored on the respective server of our email service.
4. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA
Personal data provided by users through the platform will be retained for the time necessary to provide the functionalities available on the platform, fulfill the legitimate purposes described in this policy or until the user closes the user account or requests the deletion of their data. InstaService may retain personal data for a longer period provided that the user has consented to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. In addition, InstaService may be obliged to retain personal data for a longer period provided that this is required for compliance with a legal obligation or by order of an authority. Once the retention period has expired, the personal data will be deleted. Therefore, the right of access, the right of deletion, the right of rectification and the right to data portability cannot be asserted after the retention period has expired.

6. LOCATION DATA USAGE
The InstaService Pro app collects and uses location data from service providers to enhance operational efficiency and improve user experience. This disclosure outlines how and why we use this data, fulfilling our commitment to transparency and compliance with legal requirements.
How We Use Location Data:
Live Tracking: The InstaService Pro app collects location data to enable live tracking of service providers by customers. This feature helps customers know the estimated time of arrival and track the service provider's journey in real time.
Efficient Job Management: Location data is used to assign jobs efficiently, matching service providers with customer requests based on proximity.
Timely Reminders: The app uses location data to send timely reminders to ensure service providers reach their destinations on time and manage their schedules effectively.
Collection Methods:
Location Data: We collect precise and approximate location data from Service Provider’s mobile devices when the InstaService Pro app is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen) or background (app open but not on-screen). This ensures that service providers are always ready to receive job notifications and that customers can receive updates without any delays.
Customers who use the InstaService app without enabling the collection of location data from their mobile devices may experience issues. For example, a customer who has not enabled precise location data will have to enter their service address manually.
Data Privacy and Security:
Control and Transparency: Service providers can view and control location settings within the app. They can also choose when to share their location based on their preferences and privacy concerns.
Data Security: We implement robust security measures to protect location data against unauthorized access and breaches. Data is encrypted during transmission and storage.
Additional Use of Data: If we extend the use of this data for ads or to support advertising, the methods and purposes will be clearly stated here. Currently, we do not use this data for any advertising.
By using the InstaService Pro app, you consent to the collection and use of the location data described above. This policy is designed to be clear and straightforward to ensure that all service providers understand our data practices and their implications.
7. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
Information about our users is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to third parties. We share customer information only as described below.
Third-Party Service Providers. We use third party services to perform certain functions on our platform. Some of these functions and services include: website creation and hosting, payment processing (Stripe), background checks, sending emails, sending SMS messages, chat services, messaging services, and data tracking and analysis services on the platform.
These third-party services and tools may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use that information for other purposes. Information shared with these third-party services will be treated and stored in accordance with their respective privacy policies and our privacy policy.

InstaService respects your privacy and does not share this information with unaffiliated third parties. SMS text messages. By using our platform and the services available on the platform, you consent to the sending of text messages (SMS) to the phone number provided by the user during registration. These messages will be sent by us or through third party services, and will include relevant information about the services and functionalities available on the platform. We undertake to use your telephone number exclusively for these purposes and will not share it with other entities for promotional activities without your explicit consent. You may unsubscribe from receiving these messages at any time by following the instructions provided in the messages you receive.
Business Transfers. In the event InstaService creates, merges with, or is acquired by another entity, your information will likely be transferred. InstaService will send you an email or post a prominent notice on our platform before your information becomes subject to another privacy policy.
Protection of InstaService and Others. We release personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce or apply our terms and conditions and other agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of InstaService, our users, or others. Anonymous Information. InstaService uses anonymous browsing information collected automatically by our servers primarily to help us administer and improve the platform. Access and portability: to access and know what information is stored on our servers, you can send us your request through our contact information.
Rectification, restriction, limitation and deletion: You may also rectify, restrict, limit or delete much of your information.
